Nat's right, Celtics fans are jumping all over this and Powe currently has 80% of the votes.

Yes us Pistons fans know that we got knock out the playoffs. But no disrespect, we have been one of the most consistent teams in the NBA (pistons, spurs, um maybe lakers). But we the Detroit Pistons haven't been a lottery bond team for years, and i'm not trying to brag or nothing but it annoys me when people come and say we suck, but the truth is we have been a powerhouse for years. Whatever to the classy Celtics fan, your team has won 2 less championships in the last 20 years than the Pistons. Everybody says the Pistons have nothing to show for their run, discounting the fact that they did in fact win a championship.

two: Boston is like Detroit, we have start players who are just getting older, not younger. But we both have strong benches
three: Same thing for Detroit, being born and raised in Detroit/Michigan you are a Lions fans no matter how much you disss thme but we always love the lions.
four: i would rather ocme up short knowing you only needed two more years, and going to the off season trying to find that extra push INSTEAD of not making the playoffs at all and always having to rebuild.

Fluidics time line is relevant becaue the last 20 years happened in our lifetime. If you're going to count the enitre history of the franchize than you're bringing up championships that had nothing to do with your current team, its management, or you.
By the way, you said you wouldn't want a consistant team that comes up short every year. Sounds a lot like a very good football team that lost in last years super bowl.
Just because there are 4 sport teams that your town roots for doesn't mean that bandwagon fans don't exist there. I know plenty of people in Michigan who have given up on the Lions, and in upper Michigan most people even root for the Packers.
When the Lions hit their stride and win the Championship, it is we life fans who will enjoy it most and the ones who try to jump off the bandwagon will be held accountable for their lack of faith. The difference between our lions the last 20 years and your Celtics the last 20 years? Ford Field still sells out every game and fans still support their players all season long. The same can be said for the Pistons' teal era. The Garden was quiet as a mouse for years befor last season and it barely filled to half capasity. Now that you have 3 perenial all stars people decide they want to come support them?
News for you, Celticsr, it's easy to cheer and root and wear your jereseys when your team is on top. It takes a city/state with plenty of true fans to support them just as enthusiastically when they're down- way down.

anyway Pistons fans. We have every way to beleive in the Pistons this year. But yeah um i think if we even think about a trade i think it should be @ the trade deadline. But now i don't want a trade i just can't wait to see some action with this team, and Sheed being silly in practices like he always do. Does anyone know when training camp starts and also when the open practice start. I'm planning on attending the first home game of the season or the second game at home. I CAN'T WAIT !!!

Looks like Maxi is a lock for round 4 of the floor burn tournament. He also doubled his next opponent in votes which is no doubt somewhat due to Nat's campaigning. If team Need4sheed holds its ground for two more rounds Maxi's victory is in the bag.
