Pistons Sign Walter Sharpe and Will Bynum

"A League source tells WDFN's Matt Dery that the Pistons are close to signing second round pick Walter Sharpe to a two year contract. Sharpe was the team's first of three second round picks out of UAB. Also, WDFN has learned that the Pistons have offered Will Bynum a one year deal to be their third point guard. Bynum played very well for the Pistons summer league team in Las Vegas." Via Matt Dery of WDFN

Three point guards on the roster not counting Lindsey Hunter, makes you think.

as for the pistons, i dont think his signing will have much impact on their success, it's a requirement these days to have backups deep in ur bench and he gives u that in case injuries happen

Dominic said...: I'm happy we signed Will Bynum I feel he deserves a chance to be a solid rotation player and he's a bit like a young Lindsey with his harrasing defense and willingness to score (there will never be another Lindsey NEVER) we'll see how he does I have a feeling he's going to be a bit like Amir was last year.
