i didnt even bother listening to ur last two podcasts cuz i had a feeling it would be 100% negative talk... haha.. and i wanted to stay positive cuz i believe in this team... but i agree with what u guys said here... i knew that even tho orlando is better than philly, we match up against them better.. and the nba is all about matchups

cant wait for game 2, especially after all the trash talking going on b/w the teams now - http://realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/52326/20080504/bad_blood_brewing_between_pistons/magic/

i'm not gonna beat a dead horse by saying these guys are simply pedestrian the only good thing about it is the radiohead at the begining... i disagree that the two "valuable" games we lost and why is game three most important?? the pistons playing strait into this series makes them play better because they are clicking right now and do better without 4 or 5 days of rest.. so i don't feel losing these "valuable" games effected the team for the worse but more for the better.. one thing i wish someone would mention is that since maxi got in the starting line up we haven't dropped a game.. i do agree with them and mannie that match ups are the key in this series and the nba.. cant wait for the game tonight go pistons!!

Blaze...

I do agree with you about the momentum carrying over to this series and how been an advantage so far. In hine-sight that has certainly been a positive for the team. My original concern--along with others (i think)--was the team getting worn out by the Conference finals like we did the last two years. With that said, I agree 100% that the two extra games were a blessing in disguise. (Especially Game 3 when we were flat out embarrassed, hence Bennie's "Important" comment) Does anyone else notice how much more these "streaks" help or hurt the Pistons more then the average team, in any other Sport?? Exhibit A: 10 Game winning streak before the All-Star Break...then two bad performances right after--one against Milwaulkee.

And yes, we are just regular guys, or pedestrians--for example if I walk across the street, by law, drivers do have to yield--and Radiohead is GREAT.

David...

I predicted you were going to say that. Wierd huh?

Much love and less animosity. Just having fun, hope everyone does the same...IT'S PLAYOFFS AND THE TEAM LOOKS GREAT!! Let's enjoy it together.
