McDyess Breaks His Nose and Inspires His Team

The Pistons got a little more intimidating after Game 3 against the Sixers. Two masked men on one team at the same time is one thing, but when one of them inspires their teammates to go out and get the job done is another. ]

We all know just how bad Dyess wants to win it all, so after Detroit's lackluster start to Game 4 against the Sixers, he not only inspired his team by his play, but the quiet McDyess also did it with his words. MYTV20 Detroit ran this story (video) of Dyess and his mask before the Pistons Game 5 victory.

Who in their right mind wouldn't be pulling for this guy?

I figured Dyess would motivate the rest of the team to play harder!

i had mixed feelings if he was gonna end up as a weak link in the rotation but he's DEFINITELY playing inspired b-ball.

Awwww I ♥ it. McDyess seems so sweet, but dang he's country. I'm glad he lit a fire under this team. If they can continue to play inspiring basketball hopefully they can make it to the Finals and win. LET'S DO IT FOR DYESS!!! I want them to win so if we win tonight hopefully they won't underestimate the Magic. They have a better coach this year, and guys that are still itching from the fact that we swept them last year. They are a much tougher team and if we take care of business I think we gan get up out of there in 6 games. LET'S GO PISTONS LET'S DO IT FOR DYESS!!!

If we don't win it for Dyess this time around I might have to shoot the rest of the team... he is totally beyond deserving it at this point.

DO IT FOR DYESS!!
I say if we don't win the title this year, Dumars is forced to trade Dyess to the Lakers or Celtics. The guy deserves a ring!

Tayshaun--rude and cocky??? Are you sure he isn't just shy and reserved?

I adore Dice--no one deserves a championship more than him.
