The Pistons take their streak out of the Country

The Pistons vs. The Raptors

The Pistons take on The Raptors tonight at the Air Canada Center. Detroit will try to make it 11 straight with a win tonight against Toronto and their old teammate Carlos Delfino. If the Pistons can contain the self promoting Bosh along with Bargnani they should be fine.

Raptors HQ wanted to get a little Detroit perspective on tonights matchup so I answered a few questions for them. So head on over and get a Pistons and Raps take on this one.

Cuzoogle thinks the Pistons will win, even though they are rooting for the Raps. Plus our friend flipped the script on the picture in his post. It's Sheed that's supposed to be in color Cuzzy.

HoppsAddict always gives the Pistons love, but I know my good friend loves his Raptors.

Last but certainly not least those wacky Canadians Tas and Skeets will tell you who's better...The Celtics or The Pistons. They also got a kick out of the look on Sheed's face when Brezec dove into the crowd. Check out the Basketball Jones podcast.

Tip off is at 7:00 and the game being broadcast on FSN Detroit along with ESPN. As always you can catch it streaming live or on the radio at 1130 AM WDFN. If you haven't been in the Need4Sheed Forum Chat Room during the game for a little live game chat action, your missing out.

Here's to the red white and blue.

its amazing what desire will do to your game.

Question:

Why is Detroit vs. Toronto on ESPN and Detroit Vs. Boston isn't nationally televised???

Not to sound cocky, but the way we have been playing, I don't fear any team! Our offense is on fire and our defense is still outstanding! Bring on the Raptors & the Celtics because our boys are ready to play!

GO PISTONS

I cant wait to see Defino. I hope he's happy with where he stands now. Jarvis Hayes wasnt a bad addition at all. So if I was asked, I wouldnt trade the two!

haha. I love that commerical of Chris Bosh, he really wants to go to the Allstar Game if he would do that! haha.. but everytime I see Sheeds reaction when Brezec dove into the crowed.. I laugh even harder. Im also very excited to see Carlos play.. but I hope we crush em'

LOL, that's very creative of Chris Bosh....
Maybe we should get one done for Rip....Somebody said it right, nice guys finish last.
If Rip was nuts and selfish like Kobe, he would have more votes.

11 in a row and Boston's up by double digits with a few minutes left in their game.

So if that whole Pats/Giants was such a huge regular season NFL game, tomorrow has to be pretty damn close to the equivalent in the NBA... it's gonna be insane!

Man, that was a tough fought game. It was a bit surprising to see it end the way it did, but in the end, Toronto didn't have anything left in the tank, and the stones still had fresh legs. Good game.

Now let's go home & beat those Celtics!! Played a hell of a game tonight... EVERYBODY!! Just need to stay focused and keep our composure. We already know we can beat them --it's been done :] and there's NO better team in the league right now than the Pisotns. Boston and their record can go to hell because the Pistons are THE BEST!!

I have to admit that the Chris Bosh commercial is pretty funny -- I think Bubba stole the show though. LOL

GO PISTONS!!!!

Good News Boston won by 4 points meaning they will probably be a little bit more tired than us. Mind you I'd rather win this one with Boston having fresh legs but hey this is the NBA you take any advantage you can

CB's tech and Rip's 39 minutes are my only complaints.

Toronto only turned the ball over FOUR times. Good thing Tay cleaned up on that defensive glass.

I was at the game early watching the shootaround and Rasheed was missing EVERYTHING from downtown. He must have made 3 out of 20 open set shots from behind the arc. He was cursing and shaking his head at some stages.

This made me pretty worried that his touch was off, particularly as he can get a little 3-happy at times. What happens? He shoots 5-7 from downtown.

Jonathan.... He doesn't seem to take warmups all that seriously. I bet you were pleasantly surprised at his 5-7. Great game!

We stuck around but the start of the fourth killed us.

Thanks for the linkage.

I look forward to a rematch when we have T.J. back.

Good luck against the Celts.
