Pistons take on The Bucks

Pistons vs Bucks

The Pistons take on the very holiday festive Milwaukee Bucks who at 7-and-7 have been one of the big surprises this season. You have the always deadly Michael Redd, the very odd Andrew Bogut (whom I can't stand because he's always trying to get Sheed T'd up when he plays the Pistons) and the new Chinese rookie sensation Yi.

You might say the Pistons hold the edge in this match up, but the Bucks sometimes give the Pistons problems. And after blowing a 12 point lead against the lowly Knicks the other night they might be rough on The Pistons. Detroit has won three of its past four games at Milwaukee's Bradley Center, and I know we are all hoping it's going to be five by morning.

Tip off is at 8:30 and is locally broadcast on myTV20 Detroit, but you would know that if you downloaded your December Pistons Wallpaper Schedule.

I'm leaving it you in the comments.

The Pistons are looking pretty good tonight. So far though there have been some ticky tack fouls. I love all the offensive rebounds and the and 1's.

And I can't wait for the video. I guess it's Nat's christmas present to us. We have to wait until December 3rd to open it.

Claire I wouldn't say a "fight". More like a disagreement. Rip and Desmond got tangled up. I don't remember exactly what happened but no punches were thrown for sure. They weren't going out for drinks with each other after the game in other words.

Great great game.

*Tay, Chauncey and 'Sheed played well.

*Rip seemed a bit off. I thought he had found his rhythm in the Cleveland game but that was short lived. No worries though. I'm sure he'll be back to his oldself sooner rather than later.

*'Dyess didn't get enough touches in my opinion. Of course, that's the beauty of this team. Not everyone has to have a stellar offensive game to get the win.

*Maxiell was Maxiell. Even when the Pistons had the game well in hand, he was still doing his thing and had me cheering and clapping and jumping up off my ass.

*Flurray was on fire in the 4th! Dude scored like 16 or 18 points in less than 12 minutes. NICE!

*Nazr didn't disappoint. I loved the play where he got the ball right under the basket and just waited for a defender to fly past him before taking it up. Patience and poise--that's Pistons basketball right there.

*Very nice night for Detroit.

P.S. I noticed the Bulls won and I took a peak at the boxscore out of curiosity and check out Ben's stats: 10 pts, 19 rbs, 5 stls, and 4 blks....That's the Big Ben we know!

Well, dont forget Rip has a hyperextended elbow. I think he's been off because of these little side injuries. But I'd rather Rip slack off now and go to work in the Playoffs than the other way around.

So Sheed was joking around and pushed someone on bench out of their seat, was it Rip? Did anybody see this? Does anybody have a clip? or description by words? Thanks

the news article above tells us a little bit why Rip's struggling. He says its because he's used to playing 40 minutes. I guess it makes sense that his shooting is off because he doesnt have enough time to "warm up" or something. So why can't they just let Rip go out there and shoot/practice like 30 minutes before the game, so when the game starts, he'll just start rolling.

And about his minutes, I dont think he should worry, because when Playoffs come, I'm sure he wont get 25 minutes a night even if he wanted too. I guess they could always increase the starters minutes a little bit near Playoffs time, so the starters could get used to playing big minutes. But his last sentence definitely makes me feel better, because he still has his eyes on the ultimate prize, winning as a team. So just rest up now and enjoy your front-row seat, Rip! You've been working hard the past couple of years already, just relax a little bit now.
