Pistons - and the Darkoless Magic

Pistons vs Magic
Pistons, including Rip Hamilton (although A Sherrod Blakely hasn't seen him yet), take on The Orlando Magic tonight at Disney World. I always enjoy watching Dwight Howard play as long as the score is in The Pistons favor. Orlando boasts a new coach, new players, new slogan (The Time is Now) and no Darko, it should be a fun one. I will tell you I think the best thing The Magic may have going for them besides DH is their website, which is pretty snazzy by NBA standards.

I will leave you with another classic Sheed quote form our friend Matt Watson in his HoopsWorld piece.

"I ain't in this thing for [the] Hall of Fame, I ain't in this thing for [the] All-Star game. I'm in this for one thing, and that's to win 'ships," said Wallace. "And that's the only thing I care about. I couldn't care about anything else less."

"My overall bottom line is them rings, because that supersedes everything."

Amen Sheed... Tip off is 7 PM and is locally broadcast on myTV20. As always leave 'em in the comments.

i predict another W for the pistons tonight, but i am not ready to take the bet for tay scoring 35... he has to be tired as hell because he played his ass off for way too many minutes last night -- can't say i didn't enjoy the hell out of it though ;) great job tay!!

^^pain in his achilles tendon probably as a result of the pre pre-season ankle sprain -- shouldn't be too serious but taking no chances.

Anyone else think Chauncey is spending a lot of time on his ass so far this season? He seems a little more aggressive than he was last season - not a bad thing but damn! if he gets hurt, I will cry like a little girl. I cringe every time he hits the floor. They seem to be tossing him around too much for my liking... and Shaq was being an asshole last night btw. Welcome AA Shaq!! You'll get along great with Bill Walton.

Thought the Pistons showed great all round focus for 48 minutes. Let's hope we get more of that this season.

That Maxiell block was dynamite.

this was such a great game to watch, oh my God, Rasheed was having the time of his life, he was busy blocking, talking shit, hitting 3's and knocking down free throws, what more could you ask for? This game was full of everything that I love about the Pistons,my boo-boo Chauncey had a solid performance, Tayshaun was running the floor a few times, Jarvis was killing the Magic from the arc and Flip Murray was dominating as well, I mean, they played so good, it was MAGICAL!!! no complaints from me, this was one for the fans, and they gave me yet another reason to love them!!! And Rip's first child too!!! WOW!!!! WOW!!!WOW!!!!!

A bit off subject off the win tonight but still, I got to put this out there if nobody else has clicked the Darko link; SOMEONE WAS UPSET!!! XD I thought Darko was a quiet person, but I see his true colors really was shown. >.> Such vulgarity... Shame on you Darko! Shame! XD

BTW: Good game Detroit! You really did what you have to do to keep the record spotless! 2-0! Yay!
