Piston Take Down Toronto

The Pistons added another win Tuesday night in their last regular season home game. This one was another meaningless game, but The Pistons looked sharp. The starters got some rest and the bench played well, beating the Raptors 100-84.

Key Points:
  • The Raptors rested their starters. Bosh and Anthony Parker didn't play.
  • Chauncey Billups was just 1-for-8 but dished out 10 assists.
  • This one was really fun to watch.
  • Flip Murray led the team with 16 points, 4 assists, 3 rebounds and one steal. And if you didn't know someone took some shots at Flip Monday night, literally. Why isn't this bigger news? I barely found the article.
  • The Pistons shot 53% from the floor.
  • It was Fan Appreciation night at the Palace, I got a sweet Pistons computer mouse.
  • The starters were having a blast cheering from the bench, especially Sheed.

  • Antonio McDyess was 5-for-5 for 10 points, 6 rebounds and 2 steals in just 12 minutes. I think this might be the best McDiggity has played since he's been with the team.
  • Delfino was solid, 5-for-6 shooting for 12 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists and a blocked shot. He continues to grab every loose ball around.
  • Nazr got some playing time.
  • Rip finished with 12 points, he was the only Piston starter to reach double figures.
  • Maxiell threw down a monster that got Sheed off the bench screaming.
  • The Pistons scored 38 points in the second quarter, their most this season.
  • Amir didn't get as much playing time as he did against the Sixers, but he still played well. Amir was 2-for-3 for 8 points with 6 rebounds and a steal. He is the Future.

  • Amir Johnson's Poised to Erase Darko Fiasco
  • Every Piston scored.
  • The Pistons' first-round playoff opponent still is unknown, as the Magic, Wizards and Nets are fighting for the sixth, seventh and eighth positions in the East.
  • The Pistons finished 26-15 at home for the regular season.
  • Lindsey Hunter had a season-high 11 assists along with 8 points. Lindsey looked fantastic.
  • The Pistons shot 61.4 percent in the first half.
  • Detroit led by as much as 26 points.
  • One more game against Boston tonight.
  • I still can't believe the playoffs are starting in a few days.
  • You know I didn't forget about this, thanks to J Max I have to get a tattoo.

Good call on the old school logo for the tatoo.

Hey Natalie,

Yah, go ahead with the tat, though please don't get a "tramp stamp" (lower back). If you're not fond of them, get it where you don't have to look at it every day (shoulder blade). No one will know it's there til summer time when you're flexing the tank tops!

Hey Nat,

Did you go to the game? If so was there a nazr chant and do you have an audio or video clip of it. Also, does anyone know of any FSN Detroit live streams online because I don't get the channel.

Don't fear getting inked, Nat- I got one last January and it's not half as scary as they make it sound. YOu obviously have the commitment to never regret it, and it doesn't even feel like you're skin's being pierced; feels more like an eraser rubbing over it.
Eaither way, it won't hurt as much as Big Ben's soul did after getting stuffed by Maxy!

... the bottom of your big toe!!! haha i swear you'll have gotten the tattoo and you wont have to be worried about wearing specific summer clothes that will show it off..and you'll prob even forget about it half the time.. but let us know where you decide to get it !!!! haha

I am still thinking about the tattoo, it's actually something I have never ever wanted. But I like the idea of getting it on the bottom of my big toe, that's classic!
