Ben Wallace and Coach Skiles Butt Heads
Just a month into his first season with the Bulls, Ben Wallace is defying Scott Skiles. It stemmed from Skiles no headband rule and it looks like neither one wanted to back down.

this will get worse before it gets better
This rule rivals the stupidity of those handed down by Stern, but Ben isn't above it. Things WILL get worse--as TO says, "Get your popcorn because its goin ta be a sho."
Wow No Headband Rule??? Thats the most retarded thing I have ever heard, and he wont even say why he has it. Like the two above me have said, this will indeed get worse before it ever gets better. Poor Ben, maybe now he has finally relized he turned his back on the only true home he ever had. hows the saying go? "Don't bite the hand that feeds you" You made the wrong choice Ben and now your feelin the consequences.
Ben must be really unhappy, check out what Chris McCosky says about it:

I think ben might just be realizing that he had a good thing with thte pistons. He may not have agreed with sanders all the time but he had his team mates behind him. Detroit had something that other teams do not have the starters are friends outside of the court. Ben is going to have a long 4 years if he can't get a long with the coach. Scott is a coach that will sit you and let you play, something ben does not like. At least he is going to have the money in the end I hope that can make him happy.
Wonder if Detroit will trade back for him HAHA, sorry ben had his change to say with a real team where fans loved him. It will be interesting to see how this pans out.
Is it even possible they can trade him bak before the four years??
DONT FORGET TO VOTE FOR OUR ALL-STAR PLAYERS!!! THEY DESERVE IT!!!
GOOOOO PISTONS!!!
I really do not understand the no headband rule are they not sweatbands? I really think that is a stupid rule and think it should be up to a player if he wears them not not, not the coach. The uniform is played by the league and not the coach so if the league did not want players to wear then they would be the one to band them not a coach. Skiles has some head problems and likes to be in control I am not a fan of him at all. After reading the artical that the person a few above gave the site for I feel it should have been told to ben before he even signed his contract know that ben always wear his hand and arm bands. That too me is not a man to trust. I really don't think Skiles likes ben it was the GM that wanted to sign him and skiles had to go with it.
i bet ben hates his new teammates ... not only are his stats way down, but his hustle seems to be down too. he's letting his teammates do the dirty work and not get involved, something he NEVER would have done in detroit. he's not jumping on loose balls, tipping rebounds and running down steals, not to mention the complete lack of confidence or effort he shows on offense. i think ben has lost his mojo. bigtime
ben cant wear his fro now cuz he has to have a headband to hold it up.. thats a retarted rule.. ill give him a while untill he wants to comee back to the D
can he come bak to the D before the four years are over by any chance????????
